The kebap shop owner who turned into an educator... or who is actully teaching our children?

THIS ARTICLE DOES NOT FEATURE ANY REAL PEOPLE. IT IS JUST A BUNCH OF THOUGHTS THAT RAIDED MY MIND THIS MONDAY EARLY MORNING.

If you have had the mentality of a kebap-shop manager, would you be able to manage and run an educational institution? A school manager who would behave like a pimp, always caring a huge bundle of money in his pockets, trying to run a school... Our children would be influenced by the decisions of such characters.

Well one would say - so what?! The problem is in the mentality of such people, the problem is how they would manage the "educational institution" with their aboriginal views and how such characters would make choices concerning children with their kebap-shop shaped rudimentary limited minds.

So, such a kebap-shop master of management (or a businessman as he would call himself) normally would have a priority to invest in a 70 000 euros a Jeep instead of investing in school security and improvement of the school environment.

For the past 5-7 years the only few investments such a character would do would be to purchase a few whiteboards and set up a computer classroom. This would most likely total less than half of the Jeep's price and only a small percentage of a newly acquired million euro mansion in another country.

At the same time he would chooses teachers who teach children. These poor fellows would have so limited salaries that would be comparable with the salaries of hotel cleaners. They would be happy to have an increase of 20-50 euros per month. But most of them would use the school as a start up of their career and gather some experience. They would soon leave.

So you will end up with an institution with the highest number of teachers starting and quitting within an year. And no wonder - If the only criterion when hiring teachers would be the salary they would agree to work at. This would mean only one thing - our children would be often taught by people who would just do not care, people with questionable expertise and knowledge and people who are lacking the ability to explain.  These poor "teachers" would just come and go. They would come to gather experience, practice over our children and go to work to a better place for more money.

Such a doomed organization would have got only a few staff members who would have been with it for more than 2 years.

So we are asking: Have you all made the proper choice for your children's education? Do you actually know where you are sending your son or daughter to? Do you know who is actually taking care of them? Do you know who are the people shaping their minds and future?

No, You have go absolutely no idea! And once you realize that it would be too late!
